Conference Room

A large Conference Room (13.6m x 3.8m) which can seat 16 around the Board Table, or can have 32 seating for a presentation using the 60” LCD interactive display. A full IT suite using MS Office is available. A small kitchen is adjacent to the Conference Room. It has a cooker, microwave, dishwasher and fridge enabling light meals/ refreshments to be served.

Meeting Room

A versatile room which can be tailored to suit the occasion. The room (5.7m x 3.6m) has a circular table which can seat 6 comfortably. The desk has a PC and internet connection.

Description

Located only 5 minutes walk from the centre of this lovely market town, Mount House is an excellent meeting and conference venue, with both large and small conference rooms and kitchen facilities. Mount House is within 5 minutes walk from the Somerset County Council offices and close to Kings, Queens and Richard Huish Colleges, with Vivary Park and Taunton Deane Cricket Ground across the road.

Taunton is easily linked to the M5 for all north and south routes and within easy access to the A303 for eastward journeys. It has excellent rail and bus links, and is equidistant to Bristol and Exeter airports. Mount House is a lovely venue for a variety of events such as conferences, seminars, meetings or use as an occasional office away from home.

Refreshments from tea/ coffee to light lunches can be provided using the small, adjacent kitchen. A smaller conference/ meeting room (5.7m x 3.6m) can seat up to 6 people or be used as an occasional office with full internet access. This venue benefits from on-site, secure parking for up to 10 cars.
